About this site
The Ouray National Fish Hatchery was established in 1996 to provide refuge, propagation, and technical development to assist in the recovery of the four endangered Colorado River fish: razorback sucker, Colorado pikeminnow, bonytail, and humpback chub. Ouray National Fish Hatchery is open to the public; however, the recirculation hatchery and the isolation facilities are restricted except for guided tours.
