About this site
This is a Forest Service managed day use area. It is locatedĀ 42 miles northeast of Bakersfield and 8 miles southwest of Lake Isabella alongĀ the old Kern Canyon RoadĀ and the lower Kern River. There is no potable water available.
The elevation isĀ 2,300 ft. There is a boat launch for raft put-inĀ and take-out. There is no fee for this site.
