About this site
Overview Grizzly Creek campground is located near Bucks Lake in the northern Sierra Mountains on the Plumas National Forest. The Bucks Lake area offers year-round recreation activities including fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, skiing,snowshoeing and horseback riding. Recreation Bucks Lake is a short drive away and provides fishing, boating, and canoeing.
Hiking trails which provide access to the Bucks Lake Wilderness and the Pacific Crest Trail are also a short drive away. Facilities There are 11 total campsites suitable for RV and tent camping, standard non-electric sites. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table.
There are vault toilets and a bear proof dumpster for garbage. No drinking water is available. Natural Features Grizzly Creek is set in fir and pine trees offering shade during the warm summer months.
