Difficulty: Easy/Easiest. Elusion is a connector trail that turns Barrel Roll Trail into a figure eight loop. Mountain bikers requested this short connection in order to get more variety out of the existing loop.
The connector allows riders to put in a few more miles on Barrel Roll without riding another complete loop or to change direction of travel. Elusion has a gentle grade and travels through the only large stand of creosote shrubs on this mesa.
