About this site
Blue Lake Recreation Area is a day-use picnic area with swimming beach. It is a short 10-minute drive from Open Pond Recreation Area and is available for use by those camping at Open Pond Campground. Picnic sites, restrooms, outdoor showers, and a sand beach are available.
Fishing is also popular at Blue Lake. A primitive boat ramp provides access to the lake.
